2012 Chapter Mileage Rules: The 2012 Chapter Mileage Challenger will begin January 1, 2012 and run through December 31, 2012. Mileage will only be accrued on those rides listed as a chapter function. Overnight rides and local rides that take place on the same date will be excluded from the program. The Road Captain in charge or the designated ride leader will take a beginning odometer reading at the start of the ride and an ending odometer reading. Sign up will take place at the starting point or the first stop or about the mid point of the ride. The mileage total will be calculated at the end of the ride and awarded to those chapter members who signed up. Each ride will have a predetermined starting point and completion point. Mileage totals will be calculated as follows: Chapter Members who sign on the ride roster will get credit for the ride. If there are two rides on a weekend (Sat. & Sun.) it will count only as one ride and it will be either or. If the rider rides on Sat. he or she does not have to ride on Sun. to get credit for the weekend rides. There will be no free memberships given this year. Mileage will be tracked for the sole purpose of seeing how many miles the chapter rides. Members will be eligible to purchase a Mileage Challenger pin for $5.00
after their 1st ride. Members attending 50% of the rides for 2012 will
be awarded a year rocker to place under their pin.
